Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). It has a beautiful Japanese garden and a large living room, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our friendly mascot cat will welcome you! The house and the facilities were amazing. I had to admit that I did not have the chance to enjoy them as they should due to my travel schedule, but next time I come to Japan on holidays I will spend at least a couple of nights here. Also the staff was very friendly.

A well equipped property with enough space and everything that could have been wished for.

The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each comes with a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle with green tea bags. All rooms have a private toilet, and some have shared bathroom facilities. The sea facing room is truly worth it. The room is really big and spacious, which surprised us from our other stays in Japan. The beds were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Amazing location, right by the ferry station.

Washington Hotel Hiroshima is a 15-minute walk from Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and 20-minute walk from Hiroshima Castle. Hiroshima Museum of Contemporary Art is a 10-minute drive away. The property offers easy access to multiple shops and restaurants nearby. This place had the biggest rooms in all our Japan trip. View from our room was nice too.

The hotel is featured in Michelin Green Guide Japan 2013. A free shuttle is available from Hiroshima Station, a 30-minute ride away. I loved everything, the view is incredible, the Hotel has everything you need, and was super beautiful and cozy 😍

Hotel Granvia Hiroshima is directly connected to the JR Hiroshima Shinkansen (Bullet Train) Station. This Michelin 3-star rated hotel offers modern accommodation with 6 restaurants, massage services and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Great location at Hiroshima station. Hospitable and great service.

Reopened in April 2014 after renovations, Miyajima Morinoyado offers comfortable guest rooms and a spacious public bath. It is a 1-minute walk to Miyajima Aquarium and a 15-minute to Itsukushima Shrine. Away from the bustle of the main street which means you would have to be ready to walk a bit more or take a island can if you are not calling the hotel to pick you. If you know how to contact them for pick up, it'll be great!! For the price you pay, it's great value as it comes with dinner and breakfast. Both meals were 9/10!
