Our stay at this modern hotel on Miyajima Island was fantastic from start to finish. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable — a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Although the hotel is about a kilometer from the ferry terminal, they offer a free and very convenient transfer service, which made everything super easy. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the famous Itsukushima Shrine, the iconic torii gate, and also close to the ropeway up Mount Misen. We chose a plan with dinner and breakfast included, and the dining experience was truly exceptional — dinner was a beautifully presented multi-course fine dining experience, and breakfast was a traditional Japanese-style meal that we really enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and check-in, check-out, and arranging the transfer were all effortless. The small public bath was a great way to relax, especially the outdoor section, which was tastefully decorated with plants and felt amazing on a chilly night after a day of hiking. Highly recommended for a peaceful and luxurious stay on Miyajima!

The stylish rooms at ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA feature tatami-mat flooring and private bathrooms. Amenities include a flat-screen TV and DVD player. We had a one night stay here and wished we could have stayed longer. The room was clean, spacious, luxurious and comfortable and had a great view of the shrine. We also loved the rooftop public onsen. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each comes with a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle with green tea bags. All rooms have a private toilet, and some have shared bathroom facilities. The receptionist is very nice. The room is so comfortable and clean. Their onsen is just amazing.

Washington Hotel Hiroshima is a 15-minute walk from Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and 20-minute walk from Hiroshima Castle. Hiroshima Museum of Contemporary Art is a 10-minute drive away. The property offers easy access to multiple shops and restaurants nearby. Great location near restaurants, bars and cool shops in Hiroshima. Clean and comfortable. The room was larger than the average Japanese hotel room. Very nice communal area with tables and sofas. Would certainly recommend it.

The hotel is featured in Michelin Green Guide Japan 2013. A free shuttle is available from Hiroshima Station, a 30-minute ride away. The property itself was amazing! Very clean, very grand, made to feel very welcome. There are some shops on the water front that fit the vibe and taxis waiting outside to commute into the city centre.

Hotel Granvia Hiroshima is directly connected to the JR Hiroshima Shinkansen (Bullet Train) Station. This Michelin 3-star rated hotel offers modern accommodation with 6 restaurants, massage services and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Location is right next to the shinkansen. Easy to get a cab to go to places.

Reopened in April 2014 after renovations, Miyajima Morinoyado offers comfortable guest rooms and a spacious public bath. It is a 1-minute walk to Miyajima Aquarium and a 15-minute to Itsukushima Shrine. Good location, smoking rooms designed inside, friendly staff, outstanding dinner and public bath was optional. Specially if you want to escape from touristic crowd this location perfect for it.

Located next to Kanayamacho Tram Station, Chisun Hotel Hiroshima is a 5-minute walk from shopping area Hatchobori. Free WiFi is available.

Clean, good value, convenient location, lots free amenities, great hotel! Helped us a lot when they kept our suitcases before and after check in/out!

The private bathroom has a bathtub and slippers. Nice place for a short stay. Central location and the room had everything I needed.
