Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. The staff was extremely welcoming and kind. They did their very best to help us to our room, tell us about the hotel, how the traditional Japanese style rooms worked, where we could go dine in the area and much more. They even drove us to the harbour when we were leaving the island. We only wish we had stayed one more might at this hotel. The breakfast was quite good as well, and a motherly staff member explained everything in detail here as well, as how to enjoy the food the best way possible and more. We're definently coming back.

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. Very nice and kind staff, beautiful and spacious room, great value for money

Hiroshima Washington Hotel offers accommodations with free WiFi access. Hatchobori Tram Station is a 5-minute walk and Hiroshima Station is a 15-minute tram ride away. Perfect location to walk to local sites and lots of shopping & food around. When making the booking, it seemed as though breakfast was included but at check in that wasn't the case. We did pay for breakfast 1 day but it wasn't my favorite. The yogurt was incredible, the little jello thing was so good and I enjoyed some rice and salmon but the rest of the offerings weren't to my taste.

Located next to Kanayamacho Tram Station, Chisun Hotel Hiroshima is a 5-minute walk from shopping area Hatchobori. Free WiFi is available. I booked the wrong weekend to stay and the staff was very kind to re-book us a week early. With my 3 words of Japanese they were able to rebook AND give us the same booking.com price! They were so help full and kind. There are many very good restaurants and shopping are nearby and the trolly is in front. our rooms were quiet and comfortable.

Hotel Granvia Hiroshima is directly connected to the JR Hiroshima Shinkansen (Bullet Train) Station. Excellent location, beautiful and you have everything on the train station next to the hotel

Reopened in April 2014 after renovations, Miyajima Morinoyado offers comfortable guest rooms and a spacious public bath. The classic Ryokan vibe was super cool. The traditional meals were excellent and the service was great. The location was perfect, peaceful even during the day. Amazingly quiet and beautiful in the evening. There's a shuttle to/from the ferry terminal but it's just a 20 minute easy beautiful walk if necessary.

This is my second time staying at this property. The location is fantastic—close to the station, shopping malls/supermarkets but off the main streets. I enjoyed walking back to the hotel through the river park.
