Oyado Koto No Yume ligger blot 2 minutters gang fra Takayama Station og har farverige værelser i japansk stil, kildevandsbade, en restaurant der serverer morgenmad samt gratis wi-fi i hele bygningen. Fantastisk stemning, meget autentisk og enormt hjælpsomt personale. Morgenmaden var overdådig. Helt perfekt ophold.

Sumiyoshi Ryokan ligger kun 1 minuts gang fra det populære Miyagawa Morning Market i hjertet af Takayama. Det er indrettet i hjemlig japansk stil i det historiske byhus. Hosts are incredibly kind and gave us a warm welcome. The ryokan is very traditional. The japanese breakfast was amazing and we regret not to have booked the diner (it has to be 3 days in advance and when we saw how the breakfast was made we understood why, so make sure to book it). Location is very close to shops and restaurants. If you have a car, the host will guide you to parking spaces in the adjacent street. The ryokan has 2 onsen like baths shared among customers. Note: there are no private shower or toilet in the rooms.

Situated at the heart of historic Takayama Old Town and just steps away from Takayama Jinya Morning Market, the traditional Honjin Hiranoya Kachoan offers personalised hospitality, hot spring baths... Great location next to the old town district. excellent facilities friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in the Imperial Suite...very generous size and great facilities. excellent breakfast in a private room. We had one dinner at the hotel and it was very good.

Chaya Hotel ligger blot 40 m fra den restaurerede stationsby Magome-Juka fra Edo-perioden og har enkle, traditionelle værelser med futon-sengetøj og tatami-stråmåttegulv. Food very interesting and nice. Our experience was amazing!

Hida Takayama Hodakaso Yamano Iori is just a 3-minute walk from JR Takayama Train Station and a 10-minute walk from Old Town and Takayama Jinya and Miyagawa Morning Market. It was near the bus station. It’s value for money. I love that they give complimentary snacks on the first night. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. I love the fresh yukata they provide daily. The heater was exceptional. I love the semi-public bath. It’s so relaxing.

Ideally located just a 2-minute walk from JR Takayama Station and Shirakawa-go Bus Terminal, this hotel boasts a natural hot spring bath where guests can unwind. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. The hotel had onsen with public baths. It was quite neat and clean. Excellent location near Jr station or bus station and a short 5-10 min walk across the river to the old takayama town with tourist things. The bathroom was small (but neat and clean) but we anyways instead used onsen to take bath. The breakfast was just decent and didn't live up to the good reviews we read on booking.com. Just outside the hotel, there is a small cafe run by an old Japanese lady. We loved our coffee and deserts there. Would recommend it if you crave good coffee after the breakfast buffet (it has machine coffee).
