Certain rooms include an en suite bathroom. Toiletries and slippers are provided for in the private and shared bathroom. Everything! The staff service was incredible and the food delicious. The footbath they have in a little café at the entrance is all you need after a long Day walking.

ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. The hotel offers a restaurant and Japanese-style rooms with free wired internet access.

The stylish rooms at ITSUKUSHIMA IROHA feature tatami-mat flooring and private bathrooms. Amenities include a flat-screen TV and DVD player. The Ryokan was situated very centrally in Myajima, and is of a very high standard. The shared Onsen on the roof is facing the bay with views of the famous Tori gate. The room we had was incredibly comfortable, with large comfort beds and pillows.

Renewed in 2013, Sakuraya offers affordable Japanese-style rooms with mountain or sea views. Free Wi-Fi is available at the public areas. Miyajima Ferry Terminal is a 3-minute walk away.

The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each comes with a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle with green tea bags. All rooms have a private toilet, and some have shared bathroom facilities. Fantastic place to stay, great location, such a lovely island to be on in the evening with not many people around. The staff were exceptionally lovely, very, very helpful. The futon beds were comfortable and the room had everything we needed.

Washington Hotel Hiroshima is a 15-minute walk from Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and 20-minute walk from Hiroshima Castle. Hiroshima Museum of Contemporary Art is a 10-minute drive away. The property offers easy access to multiple shops and restaurants nearby. This place had the biggest rooms in all our Japan trip. View from our room was nice too.

Located next to Kanayamacho Tram Station, Chisun Hotel Hiroshima is a 5-minute walk from shopping area Hatchobori. Free WiFi is available.

The modern rooms at Chisun Hotel Hiroshima are equipped with air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, light wooden furniture, refrigerators, electric kettles, and bathtubs. Really good location, super reasonable price. Small room but big bed. Walking distance from main station and the bomb museum.

Hotel Granvia Hiroshima is directly connected to the JR Hiroshima Shinkansen (Bullet Train) Station. This Michelin 3-star rated hotel offers modern accommodation with 6 restaurants, massage services and rooms with free Wi-Fi. The location was very convenient being close to the train station. The hotel was a great value.

Reopened in April 2014 after renovations, Miyajima Morinoyado offers comfortable guest rooms and a spacious public bath. It is a 1-minute walk to Miyajima Aquarium and a 15-minute to Itsukushima Shrine. The classic Ryokan vibe was super cool. The traditional meals were excellent and the service was great. The location was perfect, peaceful even during the day. Amazingly quiet and beautiful in the evening. There's a shuttle to/from the ferry terminal but it's just a 20 minute easy beautiful walk if necessary.
