The bathrooms were spotless and the shower/ bathroom has a small laundry area and lots of place to change/ dress in a dry place. The coin-operated washing machine and dryer worked perfectly and actually dried my clothes without leaving it damp. The location is also really convenient and in a beautiful area in town, just 15min walk from the fish market/ JR station and aboit 1km to the Orthodox Church and the park. You can't miss the bay while walking there too. I highly recommend this place and if I ever visit Hakodate again, I would stay at this place again. It really exceeded my expectations and was so reasonably priced too.

There are so many different tubs inside the grand bath and outside, too. This was our first experience in a proper onsen, and we were not disappointed. We got a cupon for a welcome drink, and drinking sake in a open air bath was an experience I didn't know I needed. Breakfast was amazing, but you need to run, cause it's only served between 7 and 9am. There are restaurants inside the hotel, shops, and spa. I did a massage, which was quite good.

Just a few steps from JR furano station making it a great base for our stay in Furano. Staff was great, very helpful and room was enough for 2 adults with 2 big luggages. The bus from the nearby station was able to bring us to the ski resort in around 20mins. Theres a 7eleven and supermarket nearby.

The man at the front gate was also wonderful; he voluntarily offered to take our photos and did so with great care, ensuring every shot looked great. The hotel's antique decor perfectly complements Otaru's charming atmosphere. The location is excellent, as it's right by the beautiful Otaru Canal, where we had planned to take a walk and capture some photos.
