Boasting various hot spring baths, hot tubs and an indoor swimming pool, Daiichi Takimotokan is historic accommodation with Japanese-style guest rooms. Stayed here thanks to a recommendation from a friend. Really happy that we made this decision. The room was super spacious for the 3 of us and a bunch of luggage. The public onsen consists of 2 levels of various onsen water types plus an outdoor open air onsen. Onsen out in subzero temperatures felt amazing, 10/10 would recommend. Dinner was also wonderful and the staff were friendly. The only regret was that we only managed to book this place for 1 night and we were not able to book it for 2 nights (maybe it was a busy period?). Overall an amazing stay, thank you for the experience.
