The location is perfect, right in the centre, close to all the sightseeing spots 2. It’s quiet at night 3. Room is small, but it has everything I need, worth the value of money 4. Coffee downstairs is really good 5. The staff are so amazing, helpful and welcoming

Surrounded by four gardens that change colours throughout the seasons, Kanazawa Sainoniwa Hotel offers spa facilities and an on-site restaurant. Loved the quiet atmosphere, the beautiful onsen and breakfast. Shuttle bus was excellent and staff helpful.

Murataya is 2 km from JR Kanazawa Train Station and a 10-minute walk from Kenroku-en Garden. The traditional Japanese accommodation offers a public bath and free Wi-Fi access. The staff were lovely, they even carried our bags for us. The room has heating which was perfect as we visited in February. The futons were comfortable and the room was spacious. There was also a private bath you could use which was such a bonus. I recommend you stay here if visiting Kanazawa.

HOTEL MYSTAYS PREMIER Kanazawa features a fitness room, restaurants and spacious rooms, just a 5-minute walk from Kanazawa Station. The room was very spacious and comfortable, by far the best during our 3 weeks in Japan. The buffet breakfast was one of the better ones and also catered well to Western palates. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Easy 6 min walk from the train station. Highly recommend staying here and visiting beautiful Kanazawa.

Dormy Inn Kanazawa is located in front of Kanazawa Station, a 2-minute walk from JR Kanazawa Station. It was very close to the train station. There were a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel was clean. The room was a bit small (typical in Japan) but comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Featuring a Japanese restaurant and traditional public baths, Hotel MyStays Kanazawa Castle is just a 5-minute walk to JR Kanazawa Train Station. Rooms include a flat-screen TV and private bathroom. Fantastic room, very comfy. Bathroom facilities were great and breakfast was delicious.
