Surrounded by four gardens that change colours throughout the seasons, Kanazawa Sainoniwa Hotel offers spa facilities and an on-site restaurant. Probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel itself is lovely, but the staff create such a nice friendly atmosphere. They really made it an exceptional experience. The breakfast was great, even as a vegan couple we had some choices (although quite limited amount).

Murataya is 2 km from JR Kanazawa Train Station and a 10-minute walk from Kenroku-en Garden. The traditional Japanese accommodation offers a public bath and free Wi-Fi access. Sublime stay. Fantastic staff, delicious breakfast, wonderful rooms and good onsen. The overall experience was excellent. I wished we could have stayed longer.

Bus stop to Kanazawa station was right outside the hotel (distance to kanazawa station is just 5mins by bus and 15 minutes by walk. - Omiochi market and a few eateries and konbinis were available around the hotel.
