A 5-minute walk from Koen-Shimo Cable Car Station, cosy family-run ryokan Lalaca features indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths which use natural hot spring water directly pumped from the source. It was an amazing stay, the place is super cute, amazing views, and the rooms are spacious and authentic. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. Lovely Ryokan!

Fukuzumiro features an authentic Japanese atmosphere, natural hot spring baths and traditional Japanese-style rooms with garden or river views. It's a 15-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Station. It's an exceptional experience, one of the best I've had in my life, and I do mean it. The place is gorgeous and might I say magical. I've felt welcome and comfortable. The food was exceptional. The onsens were great as well. I wish I stayed longer.

With two people with gluten allergy they were extremely attentive and for dinner we got speciali created menu with all gluten-free courses, while for breakfast there was a large selection of gluten-free options with all the ingredients well listed. The rooms were very spacious and clean with amazing private onsen overlooking the mountains. Location is amazing, just a 3 minute walk to the cable car station which takes you to all the important and beautiful spots of Hakone! They as well provide shuttle service to Gora and Sounzan station if wanted. Tranquil and peaceful place, great to enjoy the mountains.

It offers a 24-hour reception and free WiFi.... I booked this place last minute because I had a change of plans and was seriously worried but what a pleasant surprise! The breakfast was great, the room was great, the location was superb and the staff was so nice to me.

Located in the Gora hot-spring area, Merveille Hakone Gora offers spacious Western rooms with a terrace. The food was outstanding as well as the experience of meal times, especially if you have dinner, which is well worth the cost. As good as any Michelin star restaurant with the added bonus of all-inclusive drinks during the meal. In addition the tea room was a nice experience with lots of choice and free after dinner drinks.

Hakone Pax Yoshino is located a 12-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Train Station and offers indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and traditional multi-course Kaiseki meals. I like how quiet the hotel is and they have great breakfast selection.
