On arrival, they provided us some tea and guided us through the facilities. We asked about shipping our luggage to our next hotel and they reminded us when to bring our bags down and filled out the transport slips for us. It’s about 10 min walking distance to a few shopping areas and arcade. When we weren’t outside, we were able to join for a few of the in-hotel activities when we were around which were a fun bonus to our stay (tea ceremony demonstration and handkerchief painting). All in all, we had a positive experience in Kyoto!
