Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property and guests can refresh in the public bath. Shijo and Karasuma Station are both within a 10-minute walk away. Right in the center of Kyoto, also in the traditional neighbourhood so you can easily walk out of the hotel exploring various Japanese culture and food. The hotel itself is of strong Japanese style and it’s really clean, bright and spacious. The staff are very welcoming. Also we enjoy the indoor bath there. Defo an amazing place to stay.

Free toiletries including toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner and body soap are provided. The price-performance ratio far exceeded our expectations. To date, this is the best experience we have had in Japan.

Ideally located just a 2-minute walk from lively Nishiki Market and Ponto-cho Street, Matsui Honkan boasts large public baths and chic Japanese-style rooms. It is within a 10-minute walk from Shijo, Karasuma and Kawaramachi subway stations. Free Wi-Fi is provided at the public area. This might have just been our most comfortable stay ever. The rooms were convenient and clean and the staff was so helpful! The hotel is truly beautiful and provided a great authentic Japanese experience. We ordered the breakfast, which was served to our room. We also got a delicious welcome drinks and sweets. The staff was kind and explained evevrything to great lengths. We were allowed to use the beautiful clothes provided and were alllowed to bring the drawstring bag home with us. This ryokan was defenitely worth the stay and we will defenitely come back if we ever visit Japan again!

This non-smoking hotel provides in-room massages service can be arranged. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the premises. Wonderful experience in a traditional Ryokan. Staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Very unique experience that made for a great trip in Japan.

Ryokan Kyoraku is centrally located just a 7-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station's north exit. It's a 3-minute walk from Higashi Hongan-ji temple. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

All rooms have air conditioning and an LCD TV, while some are fitted with an attached bathroom. The location couldn't be better, took only a couple of minutes to get to the Ryokan from Kyoto station, and most things are within walking distance. Room was super nice, and the staff wonderful. They speak great English!
