Piece Hostel Sanjo offers private and dormitory rooms in the heart of Kyoto. Incredible vibes in the heart of downtown Kyoto, had an absolute lovely experience! All staff members were incredible, super friendly and helpful! 10/10, will totally come back!

Ideally located just a 10-minute walk from the iconic Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Guesthouse Soi offers various rooms including private Japanese-style rooms and dormitory rooms. Everything was perfect ! The hospitalilty, the daily help to have nice time in Kyoto, the smile, the room, the breakefast (continental and japanese), everything ! I recommanded this place to anybody who is looking for a very nice guesthouse in Kyoto !!

Great location, just a 5-10 minute walk from the train station, making it super convenient. There’s also a LUUP stand right next to the hostel, perfect for renting bikes and exploring the area. The staff is excellent… fluent in English, very helpful, and proactive. I had a minor foot injury during my stay, and they went above and beyond to assist me. They helped set up an appointment with a doctor and provided detailed options for nearby hospitals, which was incredibly reassuring. The hostel itself is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and the staff truly stands out for their efficiency and friendliness. A highlight of my stay was the game night.. playing Mario Kart with others was so much fun! The hostel has a warm and social atmosphere. Highly recommend staying here!

Ideally located just a 2-minute walk from lively Nishiki Market and Ponto-cho Street, Matsui Honkan boasts large public baths and chic Japanese-style rooms. This might have just been our most comfortable stay ever. The rooms were convenient and clean and the staff was so helpful! The hotel is truly beautiful and provided a great authentic Japanese experience. We ordered the breakfast, which was served to our room. We also got a delicious welcome drinks and sweets. The staff was kind and explained evevrything to great lengths. We were allowed to use the beautiful clothes provided and were alllowed to bring the drawstring bag home with us. This ryokan was defenitely worth the stay and we will defenitely come back if we ever visit Japan again!
