Wakasa Annex features an outdoor hot public bath and free WiFi. Other facilities include a 24-hour reception, drinks vending machines and free parking. Todai-ji Temple is only an 8-minute walk. We spent 14 days in Japan, in multiple cities...this was our favourite city and the hotel was a big part of that. The staff were so welcoming. The rooms were amazing. The private onsen on the roof was fantastic. We will be staying here again without question. A short walk to the temples, deer parks and places to eat and shop. The most amazing coffee house (Norr) is less than a block away.

A 12-minute walk from the Kintetsu Nara Train Station, Hotel New Wakasa offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Amazing hotel in the hearth of Nara. Great rooms with amazing amenities and great rooftop terrace. The rooms were excellent and staff was very friendly and helpful.

Only a 1-minute walk from the east exit of JR Nara Train Station, the modern Super Hotel Lohas boasts a natural hot-spring bath and a breakfast with fresh-baked bread. From outside it doesn't look very inviting, but the room we got was bigger as expected with everything you need for the stay. It is only one minute away from the station, though quiet in the room and you won't get wet in case it is raining. They offer free coffee and an onsen! And it is just amazingly priced.
