Right on Beppu Bay, Umino Hotel Hajime offers public hot spring baths and free WiFi. Rooms feature a traditional Japanese decor and a private bathroom with hot spring water. The private bath was amazing! It gave us a taste of the Japanese onsen experience without having to worry about being in public. The room itself was also amazing, giving a stunning view of the beach. The hotel elevator gives regular updates regarding the sunrise times as well so you can enjoy the view. Alcohol and softdrink vending machines as well as an ice machine are available for your convenience at all times.
