Supergod service med dejlig behagelig personale der fik os at føle os hjemme. Hyggelige værelser med din traditionel japansk indretning. Lækker morgenmad især den japanske ris set menuen. Dejligt public bath og yukata og tøffler på værelset. Meget god og positiv stemning.

Re-opened in 2012 after thorough renovations, the Tokyo Station Hotel is registered as an Important Cultural Property and boasts gorgeous rooms in a classical European style. Historisk hotel hvor man kan føle historien. Hvis man skal ud og køre bullet train i Japan så bør det her være en del af oplevelsen. Det er virkeligt et lækkert hotel.

Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Nice clean Tatami room with pyjamas. Some snacks and teas provided on arrival. Onsen available upstairs. Good location in a slightly quieter part of the city. Not much quieter! 😉

Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba is the first Grand Nikko hotel in Japan, open from 1 July 2016. Property is perfect, located next to metro station in center of Odaiba island. Service is really high profile, rooms have wonderfull view.

Shiba Park Hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Onarimon Subway Station and a 4-minute walk from Daimon Subway Station. One of the best hotels during our Japan trip! Good value with exceptional service and friendly staff who speak English well. It is difficult to find a room with 3 beds in Tokyo, I’m glad we managed to find Shiba Park hotel. The library hotel concept is also very interesting - I managed to sit down and flip through some photo books. Amenities are generously provided and of very high quality. Will definitely come back again!

Open from December 2015, Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole is located just a 2-minute walk from Oshiage Subway Station, the closest station from the Tokyo Skytree. LOVED the location, such a beautiful area and super close to the train station. The supermarket downstairs was also soo good!

Hotel Ryumeikan Ochanomizu Honten åbnede i august 2014 efter en gennemgribende renovering og har budt hjertelig gæstfrihed i mere end et århundrede. This hotel is ideally located near convenient metro access while still feeling pleasantly removed from the bustle and more tourist-heavy areas of Tokyo. I appreciate the experience of staying slightly off the beaten path—it encourages curiosity and discovery and this neighborhood is perfectly suited for that. The hotel itself is exceptional: classic in style, beautifully refined, and thoughtfully designed. Our corner room featured full paneled windows on two sides, filling the space with light while maintaining a sense of calm and privacy. The room was quiet and luxurious, complete with a generous soaking tub and a comfortable lounging area that made it easy to fully unwind. What truly sets this hotel apart is its subtle, intentional approach to hospitality. The facilities are designed to make guests feel genuinely cared for without ever feeling intrusive. A beautifully curated library offering complimentary beverages and snacks was a particularly lovely touch. Toward the end of our journey, I was also able to arrange an in-room shiatsu massage, which was an incredibly welcome and restorative experience. I am genuinely in awe of this space and the atmosphere it offers, and I very much look forward to returning on our next trip to Tokyo.

Set within a historic Japanese garden, Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo offers spacious rooms with garden or city views and free Wi-Fi. Superb Japanese hotel with premium facilities and premium service. Everybody was very welcoming - they also changed and proposed another room as per our request (we wanted non smoking instead of smoking). SPA is very good. Location is really good in order to understand that Tokyo is not only crowded city, but has other really nice neighbourhoods with really good restaurants. Metro is not faw away and all main districts are reachable easily. Concierges do their job perfectly. We have ordered babysitting service for our kid and it was perfectly executed.

Ryokan Kamogawa Asakusa is a 2-minute walk from Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station is a 5-minute walk away. Stay here as a female solo traveler for 2 nights. Nice location as it is near the train station. The heater is nice as you can adjust and for me is pretty warm. For a single person room it is spacious and comfortable. I also love the private bath they gave and the staff is super nice and can speak fluent English. Will definitely come here again if I come to Tokyo.

APA Hotel Sugamo Ekimae ligger i Tokyo, blot 1 minut fra JR Sugamo-stationens A4-udgang til fods. Der er et offentlig bad og kompakte, men funktionelle værelser med gratis wi-fi. The location is less than 5mins to Sugamo JR station. The room is very clean and tidy. The check-in process less than 5 mins.
