Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property and guests can enjoy looking out into the traditional garden. Ueno Station is a 15-minute walk away. Facilities were very nice with traditional japanese feeling while western style bathroom was available in the room. Bigger private bathroom was a great experience. Staff was very nice, considerate and helpful :)

Re-opened in 2012 after thorough renovations, the Tokyo Station Hotel is registered as an Important Cultural Property and boasts gorgeous rooms in a classical European style. It features a French restaurant and stylish bars, and free WiFi is offered throughout. Its entrance is right next to the Marunouchi South Exit of Tokyo Station. The hotel staff, whether at the front desk or in the restaurant, are very considerate and attentive. I will definitely stay more days when my next stay in Tokyo,

Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath.

There is a bath for each gender on site and both the female and male baths offer a view of Senso-ji Temple’s Five-storied Pagoda. This was my second time staying at the ryokan, I love it. Just like the first time, the staff was very attentive, polite, and helpful. The ryokan is very well located, close to Asakusa Temple, shopping streets, and the subway. Despite the busy streets, the ryokan is very quiet. The bathroom is quite modern, and the room maintains the traditional style while also being spacious.

A lounge is reserved exclusively for suite room guests to enjoy a light meal service and terrace seating. The elegant interior is designed with respect to culture and tradition suitable for being left to future generations. In the middle of Tokyo, feel the breath of each season as you experience a moment of relaxation. It's a great place. Lovely rooms of a generous size. Great gardens and views. After one has stayed in other hotels in Tokyo it is a great pleasure to find such a wonderful place. Location seems a little remote but once you understand it it's actually rather good. Short walk down to Nishiwasoda and along to Takadanobaba past numerous jazz clubs and restaurants. 61 bus goes from outside the door down to Shinjuku. Next to hotel there is a vegetarian restaurant if that is your kind of thing. Down the hill there's a place called Le Pain France which looks good through we did not go there. Garden room is worth the extra. Takes it from good to special. The restaurants in the hotel are great too.

Ryokan Kamogawa Asakusa is a 2-minute walk from Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station is a 5-minute walk away. The hotel offers Japanese-style accommodation with a free private bath and free internet. Our stay at Ryokan Kamogawa Asakusa is characterised as “ service par excellence “ from the moment we checked in to our. Heck out - the service was very warm and personal . The staff made sure our needs are met : 1. When we needed directions to get to the location ; 2. When we needed a good place to eat our meals - all the suggested places were excellent choices and value for money and 3. When we needed to a buy a special souvenir , they went out their usual service to locate the right store .

Set in Tokyo, just a minute walk from JR Sugamo Station's A4 Exit, APA Hotel Sugamo Ekimae features a public bath and compact yet functional rooms with free WiFi access. Private parking is available at an additional charge. Nearby attractions include Rikugien Garden, a 20-minute walk away. By far my favorite of the APAs we stayed in! I only regret not staying more than one night! Very spacious, double room is great for trying to accommodate 2 people and 2 luggages and the onsen is always a treat, especially recommending the outdoor one! Staff are amazing as per every APA we have been to. Right next to the metro station exit as well as like 3 minutes walk away from the Sugamo JR exit.
