Re-opened in 2012 after thorough renovations, the Tokyo Station Hotel is registered as an Important Cultural Property and boasts gorgeous rooms in a classical European style. We arrived very early, before 8 AM, and they kindly prepared a room for us by 10 AM, even though check-in was at 3 PM. Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath. Location couldn’t be any better- smack in the middle of the market and the temple. A little oasis there! The snacks and beverage station was a nice addition and the staff were super friendly.

Shiba Park Hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Onarimon Subway Station and a 4-minute walk from Daimon Subway Station. I loved the lobby and the books. I also really appreciated the bathroom quality and amenities. The employees were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and we enjoyed the afternoon tea with books they offered.

Open from December 2015, Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole is located just a 2-minute walk from Oshiage Subway Station, the closest station from the Tokyo Skytree. Great location. Direct train to the airport and city centre. Only 10 minutes away to shinkansen station by taxi. Very convenient as it is located next to skytree mall and has a big supermarket underneath. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room size is not too small. Clean and tidy. The mattress was very comfortable. Free breakfast with lots of variety.

Opened in August 2014 after a thorough renovation, Hotel Ryumeikan Ochanomizu Honten has been offering heartfelt hospitality for more than a century. A huge room with buitifull traditional design, amazing bathroom. a lot of small extras in the room and drinks/snacks in the library. Daily full room cleaning. Very nice neighborhood. Few metro lines just next to the hotel. Quite at night. We spent 5 nights and was highly satisfied with our room and the overall service. Would definitely stay again and already recommended to my friends and family.

Set within a historic Japanese garden, Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo offers spacious rooms with garden or city views and free Wi-Fi. Facilities were excellent. Rooms were very spacious.

Ryokan Kamogawa Asakusa is a 2-minute walk from Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station is a 5-minute walk away. I loved my room and private bathroom. The private bath (onsen) was the best, after a hard day of walking around parts of Tokyo, coming home to experience the private bath made each day a relaxing one.
