Offering beautiful Mount Fuji views from all rooms, public baths, and restaurants, Mizno Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station. Located on a hilltop and overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, the hotel serves French dinner with an advance reservation. The view was phenomenal. The food was perfection. It isn't a traditional ryokan stay, but it had a unique charm to it. Would recommend.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. The whole onsen experience was amazing. From the reception to being introduced to the room. We had yukata's (traditional home garments). Our private onsen was great. The room was beautiful, The futon bed super comfy. The food was OMG.... literally Michelin star (and I've bee at Michelin star restaurants). Staff was extremely helpful and assisted us booking travel to any place around. The location was great to just take a stroll and discover the Kawaguchi lake.

Definitely coming back and bringing family and friends to this gem of a hotel. And they serve damn good coffee!

Guests at Mt. Fuji K’s House can choose a bed in a dormitory room or experience a Japanese room with futon beds and tatami (woven-straw) flooring. I had a lovely time at this hostel! The staffs were all so good and helpful and they speak English well. I had the Japanese room and it was quiet and the futons were really comfortable. They had a heater in the room so I wouldnt feel cold. It was just about 5 mins walk away from Oogi bus stop which is very convenient to take the bus. Lake Kawaguchiko is also right opposite the Oogi bus stop, it was lovely to walk. I am also very happy the hostel provides bicycles for rent because I cycled around the lake and it was really fun!
