The Galle Fort Hotel began life as an 18th Century Dutch villa and along the way has taken many guises from RAF barracks, post office, bakery, lapidary and in the recent past a pitch for the Fort’s... The colonial architecture hotel itself is one of Galle’s highlights, and I was constantly able to feel the city’s history by my side. The breakfast had many options and was very delicious!

Cu o situare ideală în centrul orașului Galle, Fort de 19 Villa - Galle Fort are camere cu aer condiționat și WiFi gratuit, precum și parcare privată gratuită. We really enjoyed our time here. They had a good parking area for our rented tuktuk. The room was great but what really stood out was the rooftop patio. It was nice seating up there for sunset. The family were very kind. Good location with everything in walking distance. It was quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless!

Adjacent to Unawatuna Beach, Sergent House is set in a boutique villa showcasing colonial architecture and originating in the 1800's. A wonderful way to end our vacation in Sri Lanka! We enjoyed the pool (clean water! good for splashing about and for laps!), rooms (tastefully decorated) and grounds (impeccably kept), breakfast (varied and tasty), and yoga (instructor was patient and well-informed). It seems every aspect was thought through with great care for guests' comfort and relaxation.

Perfect stay - a lovely, calm place in the middle of a busy environment - a few minutes to the beach only. Beautiful, peaceful place with really nice service and awesome food as well.

Nice and clean room with a big bed and garden view. Beautiful garden and pool area, always clean and with available and helpful staff. Very good food in the restaurant. Near the beach.
