The Galle Fort Hotel began life as an 18th Century Dutch villa and along the way has taken many guises from RAF barracks, post office, bakery, lapidary and in the recent past a pitch for the Fort’s... Fabulous hotel in the heart of Galle Fort. Amazing staff, very cool building and interiors and we had a huge room and bathroom that opened onto the pool. Breakfast was superb on the outside verandah. Couldn’t fault this hotel its so worth staying at.

Located in Hikkaduwa, Camellia Dwelling offers tranquil and comfortable accommodation with free WiFi access throughout the property. Beautiful well kept property. Drinking water available, room and bathroom clean. Room very spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view of the garden. Host very welcoming. We only stayed for one night but it was superb!

Located at the Galle Fort, Seagreen Guesthouse - Galle Fort provides affordable accommodation. Guests enjoy free WiFi access and comfortable rooms fitted with air conditioning. Amazing!!! Beautiful location right by the ocean and fort, short walk to shops and restaurants. The food they cooked was delicious and the rooftop bar and balcony had such beautiful views! The staff were incredibly kind and friendly! Could not reccomend this place more, great value for money!!

The owner and her team do everything to make you feel comfortable. If you expect sound-proof rooms, thick sink-in carpets or whiskey-tasting: this is definitely not your accommodation. If you can appreciate nice, home-made (organic) food, being part of local nature and culture, well-equipped rooms (fan, no a/c) this hide-away could enrich body, soul and positive feelings about Sri Lanka.

Adjacent to Unawatuna Beach, Sergent House is set in a boutique villa showcasing colonial architecture and originating in the 1800's. Absolutely beautiful Hotel. I would like this to be my home. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is in this area.

Sri Lankan architectural master piece Dunes Unawatuna hotel is an eco friendly boutique hotel near the beautiful Unawatuna beach(100 meters/ 5min walk away). Fantastic would 100% recommend, great location and wonderful balcony surrounded by nature. I was sad to leave

A short 1-minute walk from Bentota Beach, Club Villa provides an outdoor pool and massage treatments. Its air-conditioned rooms are decorated with handwoven batiks and paintings. Peaceful atmosphere in a wonderful tropical garden. A long and clean pool that really invites you to spend a lot of time there. Great food, great rooms, great staff! Long, nice beaches. I cannot think of anything that’s missing! Club Villa was our favorite spot in Sri Lanka when we lived there for four years and coming back after eight years this hasn’t changed! We will be back again (and hopefully not only after another eight years 😉)
