A real bed and breakfast on very nice grounds, great location, great breakfast and Paddy was a very hospitable host that I enjoyed talking with. Great value. Recommend!

Sri Lankan architectural master piece Dunes Unawatuna hotel is an eco friendly boutique hotel near the beautiful Unawatuna beach(100 meters/ 5min walk away). Dunes was a very calm and quiet hotel. Well worth the price and the location was awesome- both in terms of reachability and the property itself. Seven to ten minutes walk to the beach and the surrounding eateries suited our needs well. Hope to visit again soon!

Roman Beach offers spacious air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, high ceilings and views of the sea. Located on Hikkaduwa Beach, it presents an outdoor pool and a private beachfront. We had a wonderful stay at Roman Beach Hotel. The service was exceptional and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was another highlight — delicious, with large portions that really exceeded expectations. The hotel wasn’t crowded, which made the atmosphere very relaxing. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. It does show a bit of age, but nothing that affects comfort. We also had a jacuzzi in the room, which was a nice touch. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly — we were able to stream Netflix and YouTube without any lag. There was no TV in the room, possibly removed for repairs. Also, since we were on the top floor, the water pressure was a bit low. The location is right on the beachfront, but the beach itself is almost non-existent as the sea comes very close to the property. However, Narigama Beach is just a short 30-meter walk away and is much better for a beach experience. Overall, it was a really enjoyable and comfortable stay. Exceptional value for money. Would definitely recommend!

Suite Lanka sits on the sands of Hikkaduwa Beach, one of the widest beaches on Sri Lanka’s west coast. Offering spacious accommodation, it has an outdoor pool and restaurant. Everythink is very good! I like the room, beach, breakfast. The location is superb!The staff is very helpful , exeryone is very attentive, you can;t fault anything. It is a family business that far surpasses 4-star hotels.
