The Galle Fort Hotel began life as an 18th Century Dutch villa and along the way has taken many guises from RAF barracks, post office, bakery, lapidary and in the recent past a pitch for the Fort’s... Great location, very beautifully done and renovated. Very unique room with 10mt high ceilings. Attentive staff, serene and peaceful ambiance and great value for money. What else would you ask ?

It is the perfect location in the old town of Galle. I was surprised by the spacious room, its comfort, and all the amenities. the staff is very hospitable as everywhere in Sri Lanka. The building itself is fascinating, and you can feel it by the ambience and wooden stairs and floors, very well renovated and looks quite esthetic. If stay in Galle again I'd stop over at the Fort Printers - and google the history of the building and the Fort :)

The apparment is in the heart of the Galle fort and has a great view from the fooftop. Everything is clean and exactly as the pictures show. All empoyes are super nice and friendly!

Villa Amma Erna welcomes its guests with an outdoor pool and free internet access. It features contemporary interiors and stylish fan-cooled guestrooms. The views from the property were absolutely amazing! We could just hang out by the pool in the morning and watch the peacock and monkeys fool around which was a blast. The room was perfect with high ceilings, an abundance of natural sunlight (can shade if you want), and as clean as can be. The host and staff couldn’t have been more kind! They helped arrange rides, provided local dining options, activities to consider…pretty much you name it! The breakfast spread we had in the morning was, without question, the best we had during our trip! We couldn’t have been happier with the little time we were able to have there & we owe it all to the amazing people running it!!! ☺️

The room is very spacious, clean and comfortable & have all necessary facilities. Specially You can have the perfect view of the sun set, boys playing cricket, Fort walls , Ramparts & hundreds of kites flying above you from the roof top & may be the only place you get to see everything in a single frame. Host, Theekshana is super friendly and helpful & speaks well. This is my best stay in Sri Lanka!

Adjacent to Unawatuna Beach, Sergent House is set in a boutique villa showcasing colonial architecture and originating in the 1800's. Stunning!!! Extremely beautiful place to stay as long as you can!!! It feels like home although I doubt that a lot of us have such a beautiful house. Everything has the owner’s personal touch, elegant, cosy, zen, you name it!

Sri Lankan architectural master piece Dunes Unawatuna hotel is an eco friendly boutique hotel near the beautiful Unawatuna beach(100 meters/ 5min walk away). All!! The hotel is in the middle of the town, just 100m away from the beach but without the inconvenience of being in a busy place. It is closed within a private yard full of trees with lots of animals popping around like monkeys, chipmunks and birds which makes you feel like being in nature. The hotel is very sustainable, gel and shampoo and filtered water in reusable containers. Breakfast was outstanding and the bedroom was big and still super cozy.

Roman Beach offers spacious air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, high ceilings and views of the sea. Located on Hikkaduwa Beach, it presents an outdoor pool and a private beachfront. Very supportive staff and nice location
