The Galle Fort Hotel began life as an 18th Century Dutch villa and along the way has taken many guises from RAF barracks, post office, bakery, lapidary and in the recent past a pitch for the Fort’s... Really stylish hotel. You can tell from the details of the decors! It was def a memorable experience for us. Staff were super friendly. The restaurant is a big plus! Dinner was great! Best breakfast i had in a week trip in Sri Lanka.

Authentic colonial atmosphere with old doors, old windows and some touches of modern style (lamps, chairs in the restaurant). All matches very well - really a gorgeous piece of interior architecture. Friendly, caring and attentive staff! Huge room , relaxed atmosphere, great breakfast - you can choose continental or Sri Lanken and get it served. We had Sri Lanken and it was excellent. You can also choose in which of their lovely seating areas you want to be served. So much individuality Treatment was like in a 5 star hotel ! Would have loved to stay much longer! Hotel itself would be a reason to come back to Galle

Located in Hikkaduwa, Camellia Dwelling offers tranquil and comfortable accommodation with free WiFi access throughout the property. I highly recommend this villa for your vacation or remote work. A friendly, caring, attentive owner. The villa is very spacious with a beautiful garden and all the necessary amenities. The number is spacious, there is everything you need (air conditioning, fan, storage places, refrigerator and microwave oven). Good Internet if you need to work. Very tasty breakfast, large cuisine and dining area. Safe accommodation, gate and gate are closed to the lock. There is a place for parking in the territory of the villa. The excellent location of the villa, not far from the bus stop, railway stage and beach. The very good -natured owner helped us deliver suitcases to the station.

The apparment is in the heart of the Galle fort and has a great view from the fooftop. Everything is clean and exactly as the pictures show. All empoyes are super nice and friendly!

Villa Amma Erna welcomes its guests with an outdoor pool and free internet access. It features contemporary interiors and stylish fan-cooled guestrooms. The views from the property were absolutely amazing! We could just hang out by the pool in the morning and watch the peacock and monkeys fool around which was a blast. The room was perfect with high ceilings, an abundance of natural sunlight (can shade if you want), and as clean as can be. The host and staff couldn’t have been more kind! They helped arrange rides, provided local dining options, activities to consider…pretty much you name it! The breakfast spread we had in the morning was, without question, the best we had during our trip! We couldn’t have been happier with the little time we were able to have there & we owe it all to the amazing people running it!!! ☺️

Adjacent to Unawatuna Beach, Sergent House is set in a boutique villa showcasing colonial architecture and originating in the 1800's. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The courtyard is beautiful, the staff are friendly and the food was delicious!

Sri Lankan architectural master piece Dunes Unawatuna hotel is an eco friendly boutique hotel near the beautiful Unawatuna beach(100 meters/ 5min walk away). Really enjoyed our stay here. Fantastic facilities, incredibly helpful staff. The breakfast is incredible!

Suite Lanka sits on the sands of Hikkaduwa Beach, one of the widest beaches on Sri Lanka’s west coast. Offering spacious accommodation, it has an outdoor pool and restaurant. Small resort with beach front. Rooms are spacious, so is the bathroom, which needs a little renovation (might be like that because we came end of season - lit last days of it). Beds are wide and comfortable with clean bedsheets. Superior rooms have an amazing view over the sea/ocean. The waves can be easily heard - ocean symphony. Amazing breakfast, despite the fact that I was having the same every day, toasted bread with local butter and jam and the big pot of Sri Lanka coffee. I have to mention that the food at their restaurant is delicious, compared to many others - so don’t hesitate to try along with the local beer or any other cocktails during the happy hour. Beach is clean but not possible to swim, but the view is amazing (daytime, sunset). If speaking about the staff, I have to thank Mr Kumara who helped me get my luggage since was lost at the airport and he helped with all the paperwork even the calls to the airport, very careful, attentive to details, not only with regards to this case but in general. The staff is wonderful, always there when needed, attentive and polite. Security available at night, very polite gentleman.
