The hotel is really charming and cute. The room was clean and looks like on the pictures. The staff was super kind and helped organizing a driver to get to the next location and gave me some great tips. The location is absolutely perfect, you reach everything in a few minutes walking and you can see the sunset from next to the hotel.

Adjacent to Unawatuna Beach, Sergent House is set in a boutique villa showcasing colonial architecture and originating in the 1800's. The hotel garden is exceptinal. I believe they are the best one in Unawatuna. The breakfast is beyond expectations. Pool is lovely for the familys, we prefer to swim in the sea. They have a private beach but maybe it may be season effect, the sea was so wavy. There are good beaches reachable by tuk tuk.

Sri Lankan architectural master piece Dunes Unawatuna hotel is an eco friendly boutique hotel near the beautiful Unawatuna beach(100 meters/ 5min walk away). The room was beautiful, beautiful design and very complete. We enjoyed being in the room, which did not happen that often in Sri Lanka. A 10! Breakfast not included which is smart, like this you can eat whatever you feel like. We had a smoothiebowl and avocado toast, which we really enjoyed.

Roman Beach offers spacious air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, high ceilings and views of the sea. Located on Hikkaduwa Beach, it presents an outdoor pool and a private beachfront. We had a wonderful stay at Roman Beach Hotel. The service was exceptional and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was another highlight — delicious, with large portions that really exceeded expectations. The hotel wasn’t crowded, which made the atmosphere very relaxing. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. It does show a bit of age, but nothing that affects comfort. We also had a jacuzzi in the room, which was a nice touch. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly — we were able to stream Netflix and YouTube without any lag. There was no TV in the room, possibly removed for repairs. Also, since we were on the top floor, the water pressure was a bit low. The location is right on the beachfront, but the beach itself is almost non-existent as the sea comes very close to the property. However, Narigama Beach is just a short 30-meter walk away and is much better for a beach experience. Overall, it was a really enjoyable and comfortable stay. Exceptional value for money. Would definitely recommend!

Suite Lanka sits on the sands of Hikkaduwa Beach, one of the widest beaches on Sri Lanka’s west coast. Offering spacious accommodation, it has an outdoor pool and restaurant. Nice little boutique hotel tucked at the far end of Hikkaduwa beach, away from the hustle and bustle from the main part. Despite this, the hotel is surrounded by great little restaurants (not to mention its own restaurant). We had a very relaxing time thanks to the great service and chilled out atmosphere. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing time on the beach.
