Best safari experience ever. Many ddrivers will offer you a safari on the street but we definitely recommend going with the hotel company as we had a fantastic experience! They also gave us a cute takeaway box for our safari breakfast.

Wow wow wow, what an amazing hotel and the location is superb too! We loved our stay, and we were sad to leave. The hotel is not so big (think 10 rooms max?) so it never feels crowded. The room and bathroom were spacious and the cleanest we had in our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. Large balcony that felt private. Also the beach was amazing, not so much for swimming because of the rough sea but in turn we had it almost for ourselves and it felt perfectly remote. (Tip: try the sea food on the beach at ocean breeze dining club restaurant just 10 min beach walk away!)

I couldn’t her anyone, even if they were fully booked. Tidy rooms, cosy, nice view. Plus they have aqua pizza Place is better in real live than on booking’s pictures

Located on the edge of a rice field and a 5-minute walk from the shores of Lake Yoda, Gaga Bees Yala features free WiFi in public areas. This Eco friendly resort offers an outdoor infinity pool. We really like it here, some characteristic traditional huts, rice fields, nature, swimming pool. The waiter received us very warmly and helped us carry our suitcases. The hotel is open to dining, we had dinner here and continued to lunch the next day after checking out. Yala Safari can be booked at the hotel for a reasonable price. At 5:00 AM the jeep will pick you up promptly and take you back after the event.

On the banks of Weerawila Lake, Flower Garden Lake Resort in Tissamaharama offers an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi in public areas. Nice location and well maintained garden. Also they have provided us tasty breakfast. Staff is very friendly.
