Aliya Resort and Spa - Thema Collection is set amidst lush tropical foliage. Situated just opposite Sigiriya Rock, the resort boasts an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and 4 dining options. Really excellent place to stay. We loved the wooden cottages, and the breakfast was great. Loved the views of course, as well as the view of Sigiriya.

This 1930s bungalow is sprawled across 98 acres of a tea plantation, at the foot of the Knuckles Mountain Range. I will carry this magical place in my memories for my whole life. Extremely stylish tea estate that seems suspended in time and space.. me and my girlfriend just couldn’t stop taking pictures with our camera all around the property! They have a breathtaking veranda where you can enjoy your meals, especially the dinner at sunsets.. a charming swimming pool, marvelous rooms and a private waterfall!! Amila, the manager is one of the nicest and most professional persons I have the privilege to met during my time in Sri Lanka took very good care of us and I recommend not to miss the tea plantation tour and tea tasting with Mr. Das, the historic memory of this beautiful place. What else to add? Two nights weren’t enough but that’s a good reason to go back!

Welcoming guests with an outdoor swimming pool and sauna facilities, Arika overlooks peaceful greenery views. Guests enjoy comfortable guestrooms with air conditioning and a private terrace. Great stay, Mr. Nish and his team went out of their way to take care of us. The food was excellent, we even extended our stay by a night!
