Our stay at Erealiya Garden Villas in the Ocean Loft was magical. The eclectic, thoughtfully designed interior filled with charming details like daily water changes, towel swaps, and a sweet Sri Lankan candy surprise made us feel right at home. It’s a peaceful jungle retreat that soothes both mind and body. The staff went above and beyond, ensuring our comfort in a place where everything is already perfect. From cold towels and fresh fruit to daily chats, their kindness truly made our stay. It’s worth noting that the entire team – from the gardeners to the cooks to the security staff – work harmoniously to create an exceptional experience. The complimentary nadasve was a lovely touch, and the facial I booked was so relaxing I dozed off during the treatment. The breakfast options were amazing. Everything was so fresh and flavorful, it will be hard to satisfy my tastebuds when I return home. However, we did notice some behavior from other guests that didn’t sit well with us. The staff is incredibly hard-working and pure-hearted, always going the extra mile without being asked. It’s disappointing to see rudeness or arrogance directed at them, as kindness and respect should always be the standard. To the owner: Be proud of your team. The warmth and joy of the Sri Lankan staff made our experience even more special. The villa’s location is perfect – away from the tourist crowds but just a minute from the local beach, complete with a bar and a surfing school. We loved borrowing bikes to explore and meet locals. When my mom had a surfing injury, the staff was incredibly responsive, helping us find medical care and even arranging breakfast for us when we couldn’t make it back in time. One suggestion for the Ocean Loft: adding anti-slip strips to the stairs would improve safety. In summary, our stay was extraordinary, and we’re sad to leave. Erealiya Garden Villas is a truly special place, and we’ll definitely return!

Located in Mirissa South, Sri Sharavi Beach Villas & Spa - with 43 metre saltwater infinity pool offers an outdoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre. The staff at the property were so nice, especially the servers. They made our time there so special and worth it. The location and the proximity to the beach make it a not to miss place.

El Beach Inns Holiday Resort se encuentra en Matara y cuenta con una playa privada y un restaurante junto a la playa. La localización, en primerísima linea de playa, rodeado de palmeras. Una maravilla. Los trabajadores siempre con una sonrisa en la boca, facilitandote todo lo que necesites. Tiene su propio trocito de playa con un chiringuito y tumbonas gratis. En agosto te puedes bañar porque hay unas rocas a unos metros de la playa donde rompen las olas que hacen que el agua esté muy tranquila. Se ven tortugas desde la terraza de la habitación(si tiene vistas al mar), la zona del restaurante y la playa. El encargado muy agradable, nos cambio euros a buen precio.

La Villa Atulya at Ocean's edge está situada junto al mar en el sur de Mirissa y ofrece vistas impresionantes al mar y una piscina al aire libre. This hotel is steeped in Sri Lankan history. It looks like an old colonial mansion equipped with antique furniture. All the rooms overlook a magnificent garden located just in front of the ocean... amazing. Our room, at the ground flour, was equipped with a canopy bed. There was a personnal garden and the bathroom was open to the external The personnal is very kind and attentive.

The owner of the property Priyanga is such a warm, welcoming and helpful person that we were able to come across . She went out of her way to help us with money transfer of INR . Because of her we were able to spend 3 days at the resort with some Srilanka currency that we got in exchange for . The staff that she has built is just excellent and so well trained . The chef of the resort is simply very nice person who cooked almost Indian cuisine for us . The property is so nice quaint and all the famous attractions point of Mirrisa are near by . Over all the property is literally built up with such amazing warm and welcoming staff 😌A must resort to stay at when u are in Mirrisa . Situated 1 km from whale watching at Mirissa Lagoon, Morning Star Guest House offers a spacious common living area with plush sofas, a flat-screen TV, and a seaview balcony. From the moment we stepped through the door we felt at home. Greeted by Anura and his family at the beautiful and central Morning Star., Anura welcomed us in with a welcome drink and quickly checked us in to our gorgeous family room, second floor near the pool. The Morning Star is set on a large property within a 100m walk to the famous Turtle Bay, in the heart of Mirissa. when staying here you are literally a stones throw from the beach where turtles land and hatch all at the same time. There are a number of rooms, we were fortunate to have the Family room, a large and comfortable room with two king beds, seating and a beautiful seating area on the verandah overlooking the garden and a portion of the pool. The pool is at the rear of the property and semi secluded. Its decked with day beds and both a large swimming pool and toddler pool. breakfast here is beautiful with fresh cut fruits, coffee, tea and eggs (the way you like) with breads. We were fortunate to be welcomed by Anuna and his family to a couple of buddist ceremonies which were amazing and very much appreciated by us. When staying in Mirissa do not look past here for being central to all the major beaches, restaurants and sites such as coconut point, parrot rock, turtle bay and mirissa bay. everything else you need is literally a short walk or tuk tuk away in this most beautiful stay in Mirissa.
