Atmosphere in reality is even better than in the pictures!😍 It’s my favorite hotel in Sri Lanka so far. The rooms are clean, and the style of the hotel is really elegant. We stayed here to do the Yala safari tour, which meant we had to wake up early at 4:30 am. They prepared a takeaway breakfast for us—it was so thoughtful and well prepared. Thanks again for that! They also allowed us to check out later because of the safari tour. No other words!🫶🏻🫶🏻

Located on the edge of a rice field and a 5-minute walk from the shores of Lake Yoda, Gaga Bees Yala features free WiFi in public areas. This Eco friendly resort offers an outdoor infinity pool. We had a fantastic time at Gaga Bees. The bungalows are beautifully decorated, the food is tasty, there is a massage therapist available on site, and we loved the pool. We also booked a safari, where we saw leopards and sloth bears! However, what really made this place stand out for us, was the exceptional service! The people running Gaga Bees are very sweet, friendly and helpful - they went above and beyond! Keep in mind that it is (1) cash only and (2) it is an eco resort, meaning you will be hearing and perhaps also seeing animals and bugs. This was not a problem at all during our stay (never in our room), it was a really cool experience.

On the banks of Weerawila Lake, Flower Garden Lake Resort in Tissamaharama offers an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi in public areas. Nice location and well maintained garden. Also they have provided us tasty breakfast. Staff is very friendly.
