We had some small chats and he helped in every direction. Thanks to him I was got impression not only about local prices but also some small histories around. Set within Fes Medina, Dar Attajalli offers traditional Moroccan décor, a rooftop terrace with views of the Medina and a fountain. The spice, antique and perfume Bazaar is only a 3-minute walk away. Staff were excellent. They arranged a English speaking guide for me and guide was excellent as well. For first time travelers staying in the Medina, get a guide for half a day. They show you all main parts of the Medina without getting lost, getting lost is part of the experience but to get most out your time. This isn't about Dar Attajalli itself but the experience of staying in the Medina. Due the Median having very narrow streets, cars can't drive to the Riad directly. Taxi takes you as close as possible to the Riad, from there a Porter in a buggy with take you and your luggage to the Riad. Since I had just arrived in Morocco, I didn't have small change, the staff paid the Porter and upon leaving when I tried to pay back, the staff didn't accept the fee for the Porter. Dar Faracha Fes is set a 2-minute walk from the Medina of Fes and offers a rooftop terrace with a view of the city. We love the traditional decor, the comfortable room, and the amazing views from the rooftop patio. Our host was kind and gracious. He picked us up from our parking lot, found a guide for us, gave us tips on how to walk through the medina, and negotiate with the shop keepers, and served us a delicious dinner and breakfast. The riad is clean, comfortable, warm, and very reasonably priced. We would highly recommend it!

Staying in Riad Kettani in Fez is one of the highlight of our first trip to Marroco...We cannot speak highly enough of Latifah (Hotel Manager) and her team. Very friendly and helpful, she really does make us feel at home (only in a much more beaitiful house than ours :-)), from the home made meal, "emergency" laundry, help with unreserved late night dinner, ...you name it, Latifah has all the solution for us ! The Riad itself is beautiful, spacious, quite but full of history and character. The direction to the Riad within the. old madina is also plenty. Defenitely recommended

Set at the heart of the medina in Fès, this riad features a shaded rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the city. A flat-screen TV is provided in each air-conditioned guest room. We felt at home ever since we were welcomed by Mr Haddou and his family, who took great care of us. He helped coordinate our day trips, prepared dinner onsite on our first day at Fez and arranged pick- ups and drop- offs. It made our first visit to Morocco memorable and stress free. I can’t thank Mr Haddou enough for his warm hospitality and cheerful demeanor. Also, the manager Mr Noureddine was also very helpful and accommodating.
