All of the rooms are individually and traditionally decorated. All of the rooms are en suite and some have a terrace. Rooms can accommodate up to 3 people. The Riad was absolutely stunning! It was my first stay in a riad and it exceeded all my expectations. The garden was beautiful to lounge around and have tea. The winding passages and stairways transport you to another epoch. There were libraries of books and art pieces full of the cultural influences that shaped the country, dappled around the property. The staff were all warm, polite and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, some of the best I had in my two weeks in Morocco. The stay includes breakfast, and knowing that I was leaving very early in the morning I told myself I just wouldn't get it. But no! They will prepare it for you as early as you need! And it was an excellent way to start the day! 110% recommend and would return. It's very well situated; far enough outside Ouarzazate center that there is no noise of the hustle and bustle of movement in the town, but close enough that you're only minutes away from everything you might need.

Noussa and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room itself was comfortable with nice views and definitely worth the price. The breakfast was delicious.

This is a little piece of heaven. Just what we needed after a trip to the desert. Staff were amazing, the grounds beautiful, really good food and just a lovely atmosphere. Decorated in a Kasbah-style, the air-conditioned rooms at Caravane feature a wardrobe, and the private bathrooms are complete with a shower and toilet. A surprise gorgeous courtyard with pool, welcomed us from behind the walls of the Riad. Our room was spacious with many windows, and it overlooked part of the village and a beautiful valley. A comfortable bed and all amenities was what we got for our one night stay. Dinner was served in the elegant dining space. Tagine and seffa were delicious, as were the wines, and breakfast the following morning. We loved the endless array of jams and pickled condiments, interesting breads, and fruit. The staff, led by Hassan and Slimane were perfect hosts! They greeted us with tea on the terrace, a wonderful Moroccan custom. All decorations were hand selected by the owner to reflect the region and its neighbors: the Mali sitting room was lovely.

The owners are extremely helpful and kind, they are ready for every detail and would care for everything, so are all the staff working at Sawadi. The massages are superb, the food is delicious, their own home made products are of best quality, so it’s the surroundings and excursions they can organise. We will come back for sure!
