On a tropical private island in North Male Atoll, Kurumba Maldives features beautiful white sand beaches and scenic coconut trees. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, real professionals. We had great conversations, learned about the local culture - this openness and friendliness really elevated the experience. No matter our wishes and needs, they were always happy to help with a smile. Additionally, the island, the facilities, the food (with many many resturants), the great selection of cocktails and mocktails (the bar in general) were all amazing. Snorkeling around the resort is also highly encouraged by the staff. We took their advice and went snorkeling every single day. The local wildlife is incredibly diverse, ranging from colorful fish, peaceful eels and baby sharks, crabs, and even turtles. Even though we went in May, which is the rainy season, we still got to see all of these beautiful creatures, and the warm rain offered some great refuge from the heat as well. No matter the season, I'd highly recommend visiting this amazing place! We took a beachfront deluxe bungalow and the view was breathtaking, even with us booking for off season. We will definitely return!
