Located less than 5 minutes’ walk from Palacio de Iturbide Museum and Torre Latino, Hotel Histórico Central offers Colonial-style architecture and free WiFi connection in all areas. We would totally recommend Historico Central on every count. We could not fault any part of our stay. The breakfasts were superb, staff amazing and we enjoyed every minute.

Warm welcome from staff that were very helpful. Welcome drink and lovely surprise in the room on arrival. Huge choice at breakfast. Comfortable lounge for residents to relax in. Great central location.

The hotel location is superb. Everything is close by: coffee shops, restaurants and groceries. Our room was super spacious and the facilities are well maintained. It has its own parking lot. So you can go from your car to your apartment safely.

This hotel, with patios and gardens, is situated in Mexico City’s Cuauhtémoc neighbourhood. It is just a 3-minute walk to Paseo de la Reforma Avenue, and less than 2 km to Bosque de Chapultepec Park. Breakfast and lunch were great deals and very tasty. Service was outstanding. Very warm and friendly. The bed was comfortable. Would have liked a small fridge but in the end with the restaurant on the premises, and free water refills, no fridge was not a problem. Location was great, close to US Embassy and many convience stores as well as several restaurants. However, it is located in a busy part of town and taxis were sometimes impossible to find. But if the hotel calls for one it arrives, no problem. They were excellent in giving us advice about the area as well as the city in general.

The staff don't change, which is a good sign for the management, and means they recognize that I am a frequent and loyal guest. The concierge team in particular (Juan Pablo, Rafael and Mario) is great. The hotel design is very basic but everything is pleasant, well maintained and functions well. The food in the dining room is good and provides a decent selection at a fair price. The rooms are well appointed and clean, the beds are comfortable and there are nice touches in the room like useful amenities, robes and a small kettle. The shower and toilet always work well. The location is excellent and with the exception of the rooms facing the roof top bar next door, the rooms are quiet. I have been to the best hotels in the world and I'll say that what one gives up in beauty and glamor at this hotel one wins back in consistent quality in spades. My go to hotel in Mexico City.
