The proximity to the beach made it incredibly easy to enjoy the sun and sand at any time. Additionally, the secure surroundings added an extra layer of comfort to my stay. ADO Estación Turística is 3-4 blocks away which is super convenient! You also have OXXO, Carl's Jr, Starbucks, and many clothing stores (Zara, Bershka, Pull & Bear, Fullsand, Old Navy, etc.) less than one block away. Room was spacious, providing ample room to move around comfortably. The cleanliness of the room was also noteworthy; it was evident that the staff took great care in maintaining a spotless environment. The staff at Che Suites were not only very friendly but also went the extra mile to assist with a late check-in, ensuring a smooth start to my stay. The check-out process was equally hassle-free, making my departure from the hotel a breeze. Internet connection was stable and fast. Accessibility Note: It's worth mentioning that guests need to take stairs to access their rooms. If stairs are not an issue for you, this is a fantastic option. Personally, it added a touch of exercise to my day. Considering this factor, if you have no problem with stairs, Che Suites is a great option.

This secluded guest house is located outside the village of Tulum, only a short cab ride of the beach. The property is surrounded by tropical gardens. Really welcoming and friendly people. A small hotel kept with love and lots of details. Beautiful lush garden, lots of privacy and all you need for the room and the pool. They kindly changed my dates, stored my bag, helped me with travel arrangements and useful tips around Tulum. Rooms are spacious, beds are good, showers hot. Coffee maker in the room and hot/cold water refill available. Really, a great choice!

Located right on the beach, Sueños Tulum offers guests an outdoor swimming pool, spa treatments, yoga classes and free Wi-Fi. This hotel is only a 10-minute drive from the Mayan ruins. The support staff are amazingly attentive; and the place in immaculate condition because of their efforts. The beach is beautiful and Suenos' cabanas give guests wonderful location to relax on the beach. We were there for full week and had a different excellent breakfast each day. Had lunch couple of times, and it was very good as well. The location has a great variety of restaurants, bars and shops in walking distance.

Located on the coast of Xcalacoco Beach 10 minutes outside of Playa del Carmen, this luxury resort and spa situated in the tropical rainforest features a restaurant. While planning a winter escape, I focused more on the type of resort rather than location or beach. I wanted to feel pampered, zen and with nature. I had stayed at Viceroy hotels in the US before and always had a good experience, so I was happy to find this one with only 40 or so rooms and the type of setting I was seeking. The care the staff took was unparalleled to any other experience we’ve had. They looked after us, brought us treats, knew our preferences and were always so accommodating. The massage was the best we ever experienced. The vibe of the common areas is low key; no loud music or obnoxious behavior, the food was excellent. The suites are so different from your average resort, the bed was huge and comfortable, each room has an outdoor shower and plunge pool. The rain head showers were a delight with excellent pressure. I can’t say enough about this wonderful place (obviously). If you’re seeking an out-of-the-ordinary adult experience to relax and be pampered, this is the place.

Located on Playa del Carmen's vibrant 5th Avenue, Unic Design Hotel is an elegant property offering accommodations just 5 minutes' walk from Mamitas Beach Club. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Location is excellent, right on the 5th Avenue. Staff is friendly and courteous as well.

Featuring Mexican-style décor, Hotel Casa Colibri is a sea-front boutique hotel located in the heart of Playa del Carmen. We did not like the room we booked. The team immediately offered an upgrade. The suite was everything we could ask for.

Everything was exceptional. Every member of the staff helpful, the location of the apartment is in the heart of the 5th Avenue. For breakfast you get a voucher for a basic breakfast option - butter, marmelade, portion of fruit and bread (restaurant nearby, d' Italiano), and a discount voucher 20% if you want something other on the menu. Overall, our experience could not be better!
