This secluded guest house is located outside the village of Tulum, only a short cab ride of the beach. The property is surrounded by tropical gardens. The owner is french - like us, it was really nice talking with him. He gave us a map our the recommended restaurants and cenotes nearby. They had some cats, lovely dogs, and even an opossum ? The swimming pool was really nice, we took a lot of bathes in it and were always alone. And the breakfast was also really good.

Located on Playa del Carmen's vibrant 5th Avenue, Unic Design Hotel is an elegant property offering accommodations just 5 minutes' walk from Mamitas Beach Club. Excellent location. The reception staff were very friendly. We could hear some sounds of artists on the streets at night, but it didn't bother us at all. The water in the shower in the morning takes a while to heat up, but that's okay. Breakfast at the Italian restaurant just below was a great and delicious option. It was really worth being at the hotel. Thanks!

We were very happy with our stay at Xscape Tulum. The bedroom was clean and comfortable with a nice little balcony, that was surrounded by plants for lots of privacy. The pool area was great - especially as the beach in Tulum is currently covered in seaweed, the pool was a perfect place to relax and cool off. The staff were very helpful and kind. The restaurant was also great, they offered a good breakfast deal until 12pm each day, so no rush to wake up in the morning. The hotel also offered bike rentals which was very useful to explore the surrounding areas.

On Playa del Carmen's famous 5th Avenue, an area known as Little Italy, this small hotel offers unique, but comfortable guestrooms, just steps from the beaches of the Caribbean Sea. A wonderful hotel in a wonderful location. The unique aura inside it, the unique green view and the soothing sound of the fountain. It is especially easy to find because it is on the main street. Only after leaving the inn do you find yourself in the making of an adventure. Everything is a few steps away - restaurants, shops, pizzeria, pharmacy, mini market. The beach is a 4-5 minute walk away. The room is spacious enough, the beds are comfortable, there is a safe, although we also lacked a refrigerator. The room is cleaned and towels are changed daily. No noise is heard either inside the hotel or in the rooms. Since we returned to this hotel for the second time after a 4-day break - we were offered Suite Monaco at a special price, which is on the top floor of the hotel with sunbeds, a jacuzzi, a unique terrace and an impressive-sized room. Small continental breakfast: coffee/tea, juice, fruit plate, toast with butter and jam, granola.
