This secluded guest house is located outside the village of Tulum, only a short cab ride of the beach. The property is surrounded by tropical gardens. Really welcoming and friendly people. A small hotel kept with love and lots of details. Beautiful lush garden, lots of privacy and all you need for the room and the pool. They kindly changed my dates, stored my bag, helped me with travel arrangements and useful tips around Tulum. Rooms are spacious, beds are good, showers hot. Coffee maker in the room and hot/cold water refill available. Really, a great choice!

Located right on the beach, Sueños Tulum offers guests an outdoor swimming pool, spa treatments, yoga classes and free Wi-Fi. This hotel is only a 10-minute drive from the Mayan ruins. The hotel is gorgeous and a peaceful gem amongst the really busy Tulum. Great rooms with sea view and nice beach access incl lounge chairs and sun beds. We had a very relaxing and recharging week here. The staff is exceptionally friendly, personable and accommodating. They were incredible with recommendations for excursions and provided lots of help to prepare my proposal to my now fiancée. An unforgettable week at Sueños.

Located on the coast of Xcalacoco Beach 10 minutes outside of Playa del Carmen, this luxury resort and spa situated in the tropical rainforest features a restaurant. While planning a winter escape, I focused more on the type of resort rather than location or beach. I wanted to feel pampered, zen and with nature. I had stayed at Viceroy hotels in the US before and always had a good experience, so I was happy to find this one with only 40 or so rooms and the type of setting I was seeking. The care the staff took was unparalleled to any other experience we’ve had. They looked after us, brought us treats, knew our preferences and were always so accommodating. The massage was the best we ever experienced. The vibe of the common areas is low key; no loud music or obnoxious behavior, the food was excellent. The suites are so different from your average resort, the bed was huge and comfortable, each room has an outdoor shower and plunge pool. The rain head showers were a delight with excellent pressure. I can’t say enough about this wonderful place (obviously). If you’re seeking an out-of-the-ordinary adult experience to relax and be pampered, this is the place.

Located on Playa del Carmen's vibrant 5th Avenue, Unic Design Hotel is an elegant property offering accommodations just 5 minutes' walk from Mamitas Beach Club. Complimentary breakfast was terrific. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Location could not have been better.

This oceanfront hotel in Playa del Carmen is located directly on the beach, one block from the famous Fifth Avenue entertainment area. The hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and free Wi-Fi. very good location, directly at beach, and almost at Quinta Avenida, but it was so quiet. Tasty breakfasts, and helpfull staff.

On Playa del Carmen's famous 5th Avenue, an area known as Little Italy, this small hotel offers unique, but comfortable guestrooms, just steps from the beaches of the Caribbean Sea. A wonderful hotel in a wonderful location. The unique aura inside it, the unique green view and the soothing sound of the fountain. It is especially easy to find because it is on the main street. Only after leaving the inn do you find yourself in the making of an adventure. Everything is a few steps away - restaurants, shops, pizzeria, pharmacy, mini market. The beach is a 4-5 minute walk away. The room is spacious enough, the beds are comfortable, there is a safe, although we also lacked a refrigerator. The room is cleaned and towels are changed daily. No noise is heard either inside the hotel or in the rooms. Since we returned to this hotel for the second time after a 4-day break - we were offered Suite Monaco at a special price, which is on the top floor of the hotel with sunbeds, a jacuzzi, a unique terrace and an impressive-sized room. Small continental breakfast: coffee/tea, juice, fruit plate, toast with butter and jam, granola.
