Offering an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant, Hotel Parador de Alcalá is located in Oaxaca de Juárez, 2 minutes’ walk from Contemporary Art Museum and from Santo Domingo Church. A really great location between the Zocalo and the museum. Lots of restaurant choices and a really lovely included breakfast each morning. Our only negative would be that we didn't have an exterior window, our window and door opened onto an interior landing. Which was fine and I'm pretty sure it did say that when Ibooked.

The view from the pool was absolutely stunning, we couldn't believe it! Our room was also incredibly spacious and had a view looking right over the pool and beach. The staff were sweet and the breakfast in the hotel restaurant was delicious! The walk to the main town/village is quite steep (10 mins or so) but that was fine for us. Easy to access Punta Cometa too via a back route. Would highly recommend and wish we stayed longer - it all exceeded our expectations given the price!

Located only a 5-minute walk from Oaxaca City’s Zocalo plaza, the centrally located Las Mariposas Hotel & Studios offers guests free WiFi, drinking water and local calls. The Mariposas is very popular with quite a few long term guests. With many public areas for outside seating it is a social place. The staff and management are excellent. My room was quiet and away from traffic. Kitchen available for guests.

Once inside it felt like we were not in the middle of the city. The staff was incredibly nice and thoughtful.

Los Pilares Hotel is located in a charming colonial-style Oaxacan house in the neighborhood of Jalatlaco with a small outdoor pool and free onsite parking. Oaxaca Bus Station is 450 metres away. Breakfast was amazing! Rooms were large and comfortable. Super cool designs

The room was absolutely fabulous, large and with an excellent deck for lounging. It was decorated nicely with fresh flowers and plants. The pictures on Booking don't do the place justice.
