The kitchen facilities were excellent. Lovely natural materials were used to build the units. There also was a very nice outdoor space.

Super nice place, hidden in the north of Oaxaca, very close to all sights - we did everything by foot. There is always somebody present, and they are always willing to help you! The tour they recommended was also worth it!

One Love Hostal Puerto Escondido offers a place with a mixture of rustic and Mexican-style decoration only 150 metres from Zicatela Beach. One Love exceeded my expectations. I’ve been coming to Puerto Escondido for 38 years and One Love was one of my most favourite stays if not my most favourite place I’ve stayed in Puerto. A very quiet property shaded by a beautiful garden that contributes to keeping the rooms cool. Rooms were kept very clean with a mini fridge to store water or other beverages or fruit. There’s a large roof top terrace with hammocks and chairs that make a great spot to escape the heat of the day. The property is a five minute walk from the busiest streets of la punta which is nice because even though you’re very close to restaurants, bars and shops, being just one street over made my stay very peaceful and quiet. You’re also just two blocks from the beach. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful which is why I’m giving this place a 10. He met us apon arrival even though we got in a bit late, saw us off when we departed and provided us with a plethora of information about the area. Will reccomend One Love to anyone looking for a quiet , clean space close to all the action in La Punta. Oh and there’s a restaurant downstairs that I’ll be trying when I return!!

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant, Hotel Parador de Alcalá is located in Oaxaca de Juárez, 2 minutes’ walk from Contemporary Art Museum and from Santo Domingo Church. Breakfast was delicious. The staff at reception was very welcoming and helpful. They seemed to really enjoy their jobs. The view of the celebratory parades from our terrace was incredible!

We were the only guests at the hotel, and it was unforgettable — very quiet, beautiful, clean rooms, a big pool, and a lovely garden. They gave us a room with a pool view, and it had everything we needed. We really liked this place.

Located just 10 minutes' walk from Oaxaca’s beautiful historic centre, La Betulia Bed and Breakfast features free Wi-Fi and modern, bright décor. The staff are extremely accommodating and friendly and the communal breakfast table is wonderful. All the breakfast food was delicious. Daniel does an amazing job of making everyone feel special and all of the staff were happy to do anything to make our stay memorable. We will want to return. The bed is also very comfortable.

Casa de Siete Balcones Hotel Boutique is located between Zócalo Square and Santo Domingo de Guzman Church, in Oaxaca’s historic centre. The location is perfect—right in the historic city center, and everything is within a few minutes' walk. The room was quiet, the beds were very comfortable, and the staff was very friendly.

Within walking distance to the beautiful Carjzalillo Beach and surrounded by a lush tropical environment, this hotel offers comfortable accommodations, minutes from endless activity and adventure. Staff was very nice, Luis was very helpful and organized two tours at the last minute for us. Pool was very clean and large enough for the structure, and offered a changing room for people to use after checkout. Room was an excellent size and was clean. The shower had no curtain but it was ok. Position was great to explore the restaurants of the area and the beaches nearby. They have a direct connection to radio taxi, so taxis arrive very quickly.

If you're traveling to Zipolite for a relaxed vacation and don't like noisy nightlife, this hotel is the perfect choice. It is located on a hill and is out of reach of the noise of the big popular beach, where life is always buzzing, many restaurants are open and people are bobbing in the big waves of the ocean surf. On the other side of the hill is a slope down to a small beach surrounded by rocks - perfect for snorkeling and secluded relaxation. The hotel is very cozy and safe, you can feel at home. On the first day of arrival I locked my room, but then, following the example of my neighbors, I abandoned it and left the room doors open both day and night. All the rooms in the hotel are original and the views from the top terraces are amazing. Much has already been written about this hotel's gorgeous little pool, but it really is worth it. It is open 24 hours a day, and even at night you can lie in it, looking up at the starry sky and listening to the splash of the ocean below. Special mention must be made of the wonderfully hospitable and friendly owner of the hotel, who organizes wonderful breakfasts on the outdoor terrace and goes out of his way to meet all your wishes. There are also several cats and a cute little dog (who clawed my finger when I unceremoniously wanted to pet her), which adds to the charm and laid-back vibe of the hotel.
