Este establecimiento de ambiente íntimo está en la bonita playa de la isla de Holbox, a pocos pasos del centro del pueblo. I would highly recommend Palapas del Sol. It is about 10-15 mins walk to the main town, past other hotels and along the beach. The walk is very safe to do, in fact the whole island is very safe. I preferred being a little outside of the main town as the town is quite noisey with music and taxi carts. I found that all of the really nice hotels were out close to Palapas del Sol. The hotel itself is right on the beach and very clean. The staff are extremely helpful and you can WhatsApp them anything you want throughout your stay. You WhatsApp them every morning with your breakfast order and whether you would like it in the restaurant, at the beach bar, at the beach or at your room and they deliver it there. They were also very helpful with organising transfers to and from the island and tours. I had read some reviews that people have difficulty getting beach beds but I didn’t find this at all, they have lots of beds on the beach and also lots at the front of the hotel which is about 20metet walk from the sea. Highly recommended

El Holbox by Xaloc está ubicado en la hermosa isla de Holbox, tiene acceso directo a la playa Norte y ofrece habitaciones y bungalows de lujo con terraza. The overall experience is well worth it. I think they fit more into the category of a very good inn than a hotel, but that wasn't a problem. The location is one of the strong points, right on the beachfront and very close to downtown Holbox. The beach in front of the hotel is clean, free of rocks and seaweed, so you can enjoy the sea right in front of the hotel. The room is large and comfortable, although a small investment in some amenities could improve the experience inside. We stayed in the apartment, but there are also bungalows. The hotel has two swimming pools: one for adults only, in front of the beach and with a bar, and one at the back of the property, which is for families. We didn't use the adult pool with the bar, only the children's pool. The only downside is that there are few chairs and loungers. And if you stay in a bungalow near the family pool, you'll hear children playing all day. Breakfast is a huge plus; you can choose from a variety of dishes, from Mexican favorites to more traditional options like eggs and fruit. The portions are generous, so if you're traveling with your family, you can mix and match and everyone can have a little bit of everything. Tahamara, the staff member, was very attentive.

Che Suites Playa se encuentra en Playa del Carmen, a 5 min a pie de Playacar Beach, y ofrece mostrador de información turística, habitaciones libres de humo, piscina al aire libre, wifi gratis y salón... The location of the accommodation was perfect. It's very close to the beaches, the bus station. There are many shops, restaurants and of course the 5th Avenue within walking distance. Mariana was an excellent host.

Our whole stay was really nice. The room was very comfortable and well located. There were even beach chairs and umbrellas for our use. Majid was very helpful and communicative from the beginning. He also helped us change our reservation due to a coming hurricane. Thanks a million Majid.

Carefully decorated and well equipped room. Drinking water baloon, coffee and beach towels highly appreciated. Calm and quiet. Staff smiley and efficient, communication flawless. Good wifi reaching the beach area.

The room was decorated to perfection with lots of charm and character, and plenty of space to spread out. My son loved swinging on the hammock in the middle of the room. The pool was just a few steps from our room and a beautiful little oasis surrounded by flowering trees. Breakfast was delicious and included local honey.
