They knew roughly when to expect us because the second we arrived someone came to let us in and show us our room and explain everything. As long as you look at a map this place was pretty easy to find as it’s on a main road. Walked from the ferry and it took maybe 5 min. Bed is SO comfy. The kitchenette was so useful, we used the fridge to keep leftovers and the microwave to warm it up later. The air con was perfect. Loved the soap and shampoo. They offer towels, umbrellas and chairs for the beach though we didn’t use it. The location really is perfect. We didn’t hear party noise at all at night but we’re just down the street from all the bars/restaurants/market. We got a great vibe from the place. We decided to dive with Squalo Divers and they are literally 1 min down the street so that ended up being even more convenient!! The location is fantastic! Close to the main strip and the main beach. Very quiet at night too. The massage was excellent and golf car hire - definitely recommend! Staff were all lovey and very helpful.

Casa Takywara is located just outside the town, where the beach is wider, and less crowded. Within ten minutes of walking on the beach you’re in te middle of town. The place is just great the staff is great, the rooms are nice, and even the dreaded mosquito’s all the reviews were talking about seem to be absent. At night the bio-luminescent algae were in the sea right in front of the house. We had a truly wonderful time at Casa Takywara, and on Holbox, wouldn’t hesitate a second to go back.

This secluded guest house is located outside the village of Tulum, only a short cab ride of the beach. The property is surrounded by tropical gardens. Really welcoming and friendly people. A small hotel kept with love and lots of details. Beautiful lush garden, lots of privacy and all you need for the room and the pool. They kindly changed my dates, stored my bag, helped me with travel arrangements and useful tips around Tulum. Rooms are spacious, beds are good, showers hot. Coffee maker in the room and hot/cold water refill available. Really, a great choice!

Located right on the beach, Sueños Tulum offers guests an outdoor swimming pool, spa treatments, yoga classes and free Wi-Fi. This hotel is only a 10-minute drive from the Mayan ruins. The support staff are amazingly attentive; and the place in immaculate condition because of their efforts. The beach is beautiful and Suenos' cabanas give guests wonderful location to relax on the beach. We were there for full week and had a different excellent breakfast each day. Had lunch couple of times, and it was very good as well. The location has a great variety of restaurants, bars and shops in walking distance.
