Valladolid
Offering two 24-hour pools, one nestled in a cave with salty, hot water, and a second one outdoor in the hammocks area, Hotel Zentik Project is situated in Valladolid in the Yucatán Region, 39 km from... We loved absolutely everything. The room, the cave pool, the staff, the food, everything was amazing. The breakfast is very good and included. This place is magical, ZENtik is the perfect name for this hotel ! The location is also very good, 15 min walk to the cenote Zaci and the center ( very safe to walk from the hotel ). Also, ive to repeat myself but the staff is amazing. This hotel is a gem and i recommend it 100% !
Valladolid
Set in a bright, colonial-style building, Casa Tia Micha offers attractive rooms with free Wi-Fi. Located in the centre of Valladolid, it is less than 5 minutes’ walk from San Gervasio Church. The place is absolutely stunning with a beautiful garden hidden right in the very middle of Valladolid. The staff was the nicest I have ever encountered tending to all of our needs (a couple and a 2-year-old kid plus a grandma). Both the dinner and breakfast included with the room were delicious and very nicely presented and it was lovely not to have to look for food after a long day at Chichen. The included parking right next to the hotel was also very convenient. The building is old, so do not expect modern luxury, but you can't beat the location right off the main plaza, plus the A/C works just fine and the garden more than makes up for that.
Đảo Holbox
Set on the beautiful beach of Holbox Island, this accommodation offers privacy within a walking distance from the town centre. Palapas Del Sol features air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a... The location cannot be beat! Comfortable clean rooms, nice pool, amazing clean beach, yummy breakfast each day, 5 minute side by side taxi ride into center of town.
San Cristóbal de Las Casas
Ideally situated in the center of San Cristobal de las Casas, this hotel is less than 3 blocks from the city's main square and offers a variety of convenient amenities for the modern traveler. When you see the outside, you might wonder what you're getting into, but inside is beautiful, we were quite impressed. We booked in for another 4 days. The Cafe is nice, too bad it's only open for breakfast, the little bar is a nice place to sit and have a drink. We would definitely stay here again! The courtyard is very pretty and a nice spot to sit and read. A short walk to the square.

Caye Caulker
Weezie’s Oceanfront Hotel and Garden Cottages is a boutique hotel located on the eastern shore of Caye Caulker with views of the barrier reef. Free WiFi is available. Our experience was truly amazing. The staff was really welcoming, gave us a whole tour of the property. The recommended amazing tours (the fishing and snorkeling one and we get to see manatees!!) We enjoyed that 3 different pools were accessible. The restaurant is delicious and they served the best piña coloda ever (with fresh piñas)
Centro de Merida, Mérida
Offering free WiFi, this Mérida Hotel La Piazzetta is located on Mejorada square and 230 metres from Museo De la Canción Yucateca and just a few blocks from the Cathedral, market and Paseo Montejo. The owner from Nice gave us some of the best service we have ever received. He upgraded our room without charge for our honeymoon, drew us a map of Merida with recommendations, carried our luggage to the room, made sure we had cold water for the night, and much more. 10/10. Super cute hotel and outdoor area as well.
San Cristóbal de Las Casas
Offering a rustic-style décor, a beautiful garden and wooden furniture, Hotel Posada Primavera is located in San Cristóbal de Las Casas town centre. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Great location, very close to everything, both to the main attractions and shops, restaurants. The hotel has a lovely garden, and all rooms and common spaces are decorated with great aesthetic sense. I really liked the details referring to the culture and tradition of the region. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, quiet and conducive to relaxation. A really wonderful place! With a great atmosphere. Beautifully decorated. With friendly and helpful staff. One of the best hotels I've been to during my several-month trip!
Antigua Guatemala
Located in a walking distance from Antigua Guatemala Central Park and 30 metres from The Arch of Santa Catalina, San Rafael Hotel is housed in a colonial-style building. We absolutely loved this hotel! It is without a doubt one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. I loved how convenient it is to everything (literally right beside Santa Catalina Arch), and yet as soon as you pass through the gate you feel like you are tucked away in a tranquil and private oasis with a beautiful secret garden in the central courtyard. Each room in this hotel is different and some are larger than others. We were not able to stay in the same room both nights due to availability, which gave us a chance to experience two different rooms: room 1 and room 3. Room 1 was absolutely amazing. It is huge and has high, vaulted ceilings and a large fireplace and sitting area. The bathroom is set apart around the corner and the shower also has a vaulted ceiling, chandelier, and skylight. Everything felt very grand. I appreciated the makeup mirror that was provided so I could get ready without turning on all the lights and waking up my husband. Room 3 is still very nice but smaller and less grand than Room 1 (it doesn’t have a vaulted ceiling or separate sitting area in front of the fireplace). If we had stayed in Room 3 first I think we would have loved it, but it was a bit of a letdown coming from the huge and extravagant Room 1. With that said, Room 3 is not right on the central courtyard, so it feels a little quieter and more private. I think every other room is on the main courtyard, aside from the big suite (which is just beyond Room 3 in its own courtyard). The San Rafael is a small hotel (I think there are only 6 or 7 rooms) and it feels very intimate and boutique-like. A few other pluses about this hotel: First, I really loved taking breakfast outdoors in the courtyard surrounded by the beautiful garden, and second, it felt very safe. The gate locked behind you when you walked out on the street so even in broad daylight you still had to ring a doorbell to get in. At night, there is a door and a gate. All told, we absolutely loved this hotel.
