The staff were very kind and attentive, the vibes were immaculate, the view was gorgeous, the price was reasonable for the service, the room was cozy, and the food was amazing. If anything, I love how secluded and calm it is here, it truly is one of the best getaways I've been to. Thank you Bala's Holiday Chalet for hosting, you've been so accommodating and we loved it all. We hope to visit again in the future!

Such a special place to stay! From curling up to the fire place with a good book to walking around in the lovely garden, this hotel really transports you back in time. Breakfast was really good. Loved it!

Just a short stay not much to say.. Room was quite spacious, and the classic design furniture was nice and vintage style. The hotel staff was very attentive, friendly and accommodating. I like the view, French style and not to mention hotel's shampoo and shower gel.. i like the smells.

If you are sick of staying in 'chain ' hotels this is for you. The place is a renovated Tudor olde worldy building full of wonderful character. The gardens are magnificent. Rooms are a good size and clean. Breakfast ranges from full old english to continental. If you dine in for other meals they are really well prepared and very English in nature, for example a wonderful Beef Wellington. Staff are exemplary. A great boutique hotel and well recommended.
