The check-in was delayed due to housekeeping, but other than that, everything in the room was well-provided, including the toilet, air-conditioner, and amenities such as toothbrush, towel, and drinking water. I had booked a river-facing room, although it's not exactly a direct river view; the room faces the hotel’s parking lot, with the river visible beyond that (attached the pic from my room). The breakfast was also enjoyable, with a satisfying selection of nasi lemak, char koew teow, bread, and porridge. Overall, no complaints, it was a good stay. The staff was also friendly.

AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan is only a 10-minute drive from the Royal Pahang Golf Club and the Teluk Cempedak Beach. It has an outdoor pool and private parking. Everything is good except the mini fridge is not cold

Located 1,500 metres above sea level, Cameron Highlands Resort - Small Luxury Hotels of the World offers accommodations in a colonial building amidst fresh mountain air and cool temperatures. Really nice british-styled hotel and rooms. Nice room service, they even closed our window blinds while we were out for dinner. Afternoon tea was nice, breakfast was a selection of dishes that were prepared for order. They also offer complimentary walks, around 2 hours talking about the history and nature around the hotel.

Surrounded by lush greenery, Highlanders Garden Guesthouse is a 3-minute walk to the town centre of Tanah Rata. This guesthouse is only a 5-minute drive from well-known strawberry farms. The guesthouse was really well located. Close to restaurants, shops and to walks. Despite being close to these things it was peaceful. The guesthouse was very clean and the staff were lovely. The guesthouse sits within a beautiful garden with a lovely coy fish pond.
