The check-in was delayed due to housekeeping, but other than that, everything in the room was well-provided, including the toilet, air-conditioner, and amenities such as toothbrush, towel, and drinking water. I had booked a river-facing room, although it's not exactly a direct river view; the room faces the hotel’s parking lot, with the river visible beyond that (attached the pic from my room). The breakfast was also enjoyable, with a satisfying selection of nasi lemak, char koew teow, bread, and porridge. Overall, no complaints, it was a good stay. The staff was also friendly.

AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan is only a 10-minute drive from the Royal Pahang Golf Club and the Teluk Cempedak Beach. It has an outdoor pool and private parking. Everything the minute we walked in the hotel such a lovely welcome. Fast checkin and all explained. We had a small problem solved so well by Jeff. Great breakfast with again v highly trained staff.

We were on the last days of an extended trip to Malaysia and decided to go to CH at the last minute rather than return to KL to experience something different. There was so much serenity there and I wish we could have stayed longer to partake of their organized walks in the forest. It is so rich in history and tea plantations and just so interesting! All the more reason to return one day. Thank you for a lovely stay.
