Located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town, Ren I Tang Heritage Inn is located in a restored building from the 1800s. Spanning an area of 3 shop house units, the property features free WiFi, a restaurant and small museum on the ground floor, which used to be a medical hall. Loved the location and the vibe of the hotel. The staff were extremely nice and welcoming. Room in itself was very cozy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this to all who are travelling to Penang!

Featuring spacious suites with free Wi-Fi, it an art gallery and its own coffee museum. Absolutely loved this ground floor, delightful, traditional shophouse accommodation. Such a gem of a place. Very comfortable and roomy, especially with having the enclosed outside verandah to sit and relax. Very peaceful, yet so convenient for restaurants etc. We felt Ruby was exceedingly helpful, offering advice and tips on places to visit etc.

It provides beautifully designed rooms with a seating area and free Wi-Fi. The hotel is very conveniently situated near a junction where you can access local highlights within a short walk. The Kimberly night market, delicious eateries and cafes like Hameediyah, Chowrasta Market and the streets are lined with either street art murals or steel road sculptures. Just walk a bit further and you would reach Komtar.
