The Magellan Sutera Resort is large property popular with families, groups, and couples. Staff were professional and very helpful. The rooms (ours was sea view, king) are spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The pool area is beautiful and very popular with children, and there is a small beach to access the sea. There are several restaurants to choose from with very good food options. The breakfast buffet (included) was tasty, varied and plentiful. The view from the open-air breakfast area was truly tropical.

Located within Gaya Street Sunday Market, Mandarin Hotel Kota Kinabalu offers air-conditioned guest rooms. Free WiFi is accessible throughout the property. All rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV. The location was superb, just around the corner from Gaya street. Lots of restaurants nearby. Would stay here again. The staff was very helpful.
