Discover Grand Hotel Karel V, a welcoming five-star residence in the heart of Utrecht. It was not our first time at the hotel and certainly not the last one. It is always a lovely experience.

This unique bed and breakfast offers 7 rooms with historic décor, free Wi-Fi and flat-screen cable TV. It is set in a building from 1678 with a spacious garden terrace along the River Vecht. We loved the countryside location and yet it is so close to Utrecht city centre (30mins by bicycle). Very eccentric collections in the house which makes for interesting viewing! Beautiful garden at the back of the property. Two bicycles were ready for us and we cycled everywhere (even Kasteel De Haar). Belle Bistro were also a great restaurant next door. Lovely stay for my wife and I who needed a breather from the cities.

Situated in the centre of Amersfoort, this 4-star hotel offers free Wi-Fi and modern rooms. The A1 highway is a 10-minute drive. Central Station is 600 metres from Mercure Hotel. Location was perfect for us. Very close to our event and short walk to the old city gates.

Hotel de Gaaper is located in a monumental building in the old city centre of Amersfoort. It is situated in a pedestrian shopping area at the market square and its terraces. Amazing location. Very clean, historic, beautiful building. Breakfast is good. Staff is very friendly.
