Some have a fireplace, while all come with a seating area and an electric kettle. wonderful stay, has the feel of a homestay or airbnb but with the professionalism, amenties and the restaurants of a hotel. Lovely location with gorgeous views, only a few minutes from town and there is a courtesy bus that will run you in/pick you up as needed. This was a lovely break from our mainly large hotel stay during our travels. Late checkout 12 pm meant that we could have a sleep in and not have to rush in the morning

Beautifully located with a view over the fjord. Many great hikes are accessible by public transport if you get up early enough to catch the morning bus just leaving at the road below the hotel. Breakfast was very good! Nicely maintained facilities to cook in the evening.

Housed in a listed building from 1857, Thon Hotel Sandven’s individually decorated rooms have a private bathroom with shower. Some offer fjord views and a balcony. Traditional hotel renovated to very good standard. Restaurant has good food. Sand beach is 200m away. Supermarket also close. Hint: Ask for a room in the old part of the hotel (rooms are renovated and really beautiful)
