Located in a quiet oceanfront area on the island of Averøy, this former Bacalao (salt modified and dried cod) factory has been restored into a rustic guesthouse. Such a beautiful little hotel with the most lovely staff. We stayed in the Studio Apartment with Sea View and WOW! The view was absolutely breathtaking! We also had dinner at the hotel and it ended up being one of the best meals we had during our time in Norway. I did notice a few reviews mention the steep stairs, but honestly, that’s just part of the charm when staying in a historic building in Europe. It didn’t bother us at all and added to the authentic feel of the place.

This hotel is located next to the Atlantic Ocean Road on the beautiful island of Håholmen. It offers unique fishing trips, sea safaris and boat cruises. Lovely island property. Well maintained and good restaurant on site. Enjoyed our stay and a nice stop after the Atlantic Road.

Very good room, comfy beds. Vast buffet breakfast, it would probably take a month's stay to try every item! Good view out to the harbour. We had dinner in the hotel which was super, really appreciated the chef making up a vegetarian starter as there was none on the menu.

One of our good experience here in norway, the room is not only good its fantastic , the most comfortable bed i slept on, the room is very big and clean, the view to the fjord is breathtaking, the team was very nice and welcoming especially katarina.

Very warm and welcoming. Views from the Fjord view rooms are spectacular. This hotel is ideally located near a number of restaurants, convenience stores, and a grocery store.

In the village of Sæbø with its dramatic views of the Sunnmørsalpene mountains and Hjørundfjorden, this waterfront hotel comes with its own restaurant and free Wi-Fi. We stayed in many nice hotels during our road trip in Norway, however this one is by far one of the best! It’s very quiet and peaceful with a breathtaking view to the fjord, the staff were great and very kind, the food was excellent (thank you to the chef who could accommodate the menu to our likings).
