Located in a quiet oceanfront area on the island of Averøy, this former Bacalao (salt modified and dried cod) factory has been restored into a rustic guesthouse. Such a beautiful little hotel with the most lovely staff. We stayed in the Studio Apartment with Sea View and WOW! The view was absolutely breathtaking! We also had dinner at the hotel and it ended up being one of the best meals we had during our time in Norway. I did notice a few reviews mention the steep stairs, but honestly, that’s just part of the charm when staying in a historic building in Europe. It didn’t bother us at all and added to the authentic feel of the place.

This hotel is located next to the Atlantic Ocean Road on the beautiful island of Håholmen. It offers unique fishing trips, sea safaris and boat cruises. Fantastic place with lots of history. Stayed in 300 year old room. Very good food in restaurant. Klippfisk was absolutely superb. Breakfast was very good with many choices hot and cold. Highly recommend to stay at this place if you travel the Atlanterhavsroad.

This hotel features panoramic views of the UNESCO-listed Geiranger Fjord. It offers free Wi-Fi internet. All rooms have a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV. The location is right at the fjord, and those rooms facing the fjord have got fantastic views. But more so, it’s the people at the reception and office who made the deep difference for me. I was feeling unwell and they got help for me. They went out of their way to ensure that I was looked after and be well. I want to thank the staff at the reception and the back office… they were saints.

Surrounded by mountains and fjords, Sunde Fjord Hotel, free and easy parking is located 100 metres from Solavågen ferry pier. Guests enjoy free breakfast and Wi-Fi and ideal opportunities for hiking. The people there are amazing! We got in late at night and the young lady at the front desk opened the kitchen and cooked the 4 of us dinner of spare ribs and hamburgers!

Very nice and helpful reception lady. Location is perfect, room design is perfect, facility and cleanliness is perfect, the view of the room is perfect, the breakfast is perfect. There’s is small town in 4 minutes walk, you can get somethings in the convenient store as well. You can also go hiking near the hotel.
